Materials
Kids Konserve containers are made from the high quality, food-safe Type 304 stainless steel, and lids of nontoxic #4 LPDE plastic. Stainless steel is an alloy made from natural elements: iron ore, chromium, silicon, nickel, carbon, nitrogen, and manganese. Type 304 stainless is a composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, commonly known as 18/8 stainless.
Safety
The Kids Konserve Nesting Trio is made of type 304 stainless steel, the same material used to make coffee urns, sinks, cooking pots. These containers will not leach harmful chemicals or absorb food flavors and odors. The lids are made of #4 LPDE plastic for a water-tight seal. We prefer these leak-proof containers over reusable all-plastic containers, which can degrade over time.
Care Instructions
The Kids Konserve Nesting Trio is dishwasher safe on the top rack and may also be washed in warm, soapy water.
Simply wipe clean or hand wash the bag with soap and water and let air dry.
